Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the personal author and professional brand website of Rev. Kristina R. Manuel, ORDM (“we,” “us,” the “Site”) collects, uses, and safeguards information. Contact us through the contact form for any privacy request.
Data controller: Kristina R. Manuel, 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, Texas 78731, United States.
Information We Collect
We practice data minimization and collect only what you choose to provide or what is needed to operate the Site:
Information you submit. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. When you subscribe we collect your email address and your consent confirmation. We do not request or require a phone number.
Usage and device data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate region, browser type, and referring source). IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics does not run until you accept cookies.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver and secure the Site.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to your inquiries, deliver updates you request, maintain records of consent, operate and secure the Site, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Legal Bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: your consent (newsletter sign-up and analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing the Site); and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and Processors
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Resend (transactional and notification email), and Google Analytics (consent-based, anonymized analytics). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
International Transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
Data Retention
We keep form submissions and subscription records only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as required by law, then delete or anonymize them. You may request deletion at any time.
Your Rights
EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent; you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California “Shine the Light” requests are also honored.
Other regions: we honor comparable rights provided by applicable law (for example, Canada’s PIPEDA, Virginia, Colorado, and similar frameworks).
To exercise any right, use the contact form. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary preference cookie and, with consent, analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy tab and use “Cookie Settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time.
Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Health Information (HIPAA)
This Site is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and it is not intended to create a HIPAA-covered relationship. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI), medical details, or other confidential information through any form on this Site.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption and reputable processors, and we limit data collection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how kristinamanuel.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy above.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage. We use them to remember your preferences and, with consent, to measure traffic.
Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary (preference). We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key: “km-consent”) so we can honor it. This requires no consent because it is essential to respecting your selection.
Analytics (consent-based). With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (for example, “_ga”) to measure aggregate, anonymized usage. IP anonymization is enabled. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics is set to “denied” by default and only activates after you accept.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Managing Your Choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice anytime using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to use the Site.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we design with the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the European Accessibility Act in mind.

The Site uses semantic HTML, descriptive alternative text for images, keyboard-navigable menus, a skip-to-content link, sufficient color contrast, and responsive layouts for a range of devices and screen sizes.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review the Site periodically and address issues as we find them.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us through the contact form, describing the page and the difficulty. We will make reasonable efforts to address it and to provide the information you need in an alternative format.
